Taiwan Travel Guide - Travel to Taiwan
Travel to Taiwan - Why visit Taiwan? Taiwan should be seen on a tour that includes other East Asian travel destinations: South Korea, Japan or parts of Southeast Asia such as Thailand - or even mainland China itself for an interesting cultural comparison. Taiwan’s main attractions are temples and shrines, art treasures, peaceful lakes, spectacular scenery, hiking, bird-watching, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling, hot springs, great cuisine and shopping, beaches and friendly people.
When to visit Taiwan? Any time is alright to visit Taiwan, but October-March offers the best climate conditions to enjoy all the island has to offer. Taiwan tends to be humid year-round and receives rainfall during all seasons. The typhoon (hurricane) season runs July-November.
