Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (airport code: TPE) was known as Chiang Kai-shek International Airport. It is the home base for China Airlines and EVA Air, both of which operate a major hub at this airport. The airport is situated 40km southwest of Taipei, in Taoyuan County. There are four transportation options at the airport: bus, high speed rail, taxi, and pre-arranged sedan.
Taipei Songshan Airport (airport code: TSA), commonly referred as Songshan Airport or Songshan Domestic Airport, is Taipei’s domestic airport, and there are flights arriving and departing for all major cities on the island and the outlying islands every minute. It also serves flights to mainland China. Located at the top end of Dunhua North Rd, the airport is served by the Metro Brown Line and can be reached in about 20 minutes from the main railway station.
