McCarran International Airport (airport code: LAS) handles domestic and international flights into the Las Vegas Valley. The airport is located 8km south of the central business district of Las Vegas, in the unincorporated area of Paradise in Clark County. Getting from LAS to downtown Las Vegas can be done by airport shuttle companies, rent-a-cars, taxi, or limousine. Routes 108 and 109 of Citizen’s Area Transit (CAT) buses have stops at McCarran Airport at ground level zero. Route 108 connects to the Downtown Transportation Centre and route 109 connects to the South Strip Transfer Terminal. Route 109 runs 24 hours a day. Various shuttle bus and limousine services are available at the airport. You will find them outside exits 8 to 14 on the north and west sides of the baggage claim area. And there are taxis available outside Arrivals on the east side of baggage claim outside door exits 1-5. All major car rental companies have desks at the airport. These include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Dollar, Hertz, Alamo / National and Payless.
