Indira Gandhi International Airport (airport code: DEL), commonly called IGI, is one of the busiest airport in India and South Asia, handling the largest amount of traffic movements and passengers on the subcontinent. The airport is the hub for several Indian airlines including Air Sahara, Indian, SpiceJet, Alliance Air and IndiGo Airlines. It is located 20km south of Delhi. Punjab Tourism coach services are available at the arrival hall at Terminal 2, traveling from the airport to Amritsar via Karnal, Ambala, Rajpura, Ludhiana and Jullandhar. There are also paid coach services available 24hrs from the area outside the Terminal 2 Arrival Visitors Hall to various city bus terminals. Car hire is available outside the customs halls at both terminals; however, there is no facility for hiring self-drive cars at the airport, as these are not generally available in India.
